
According to reports from Hong Kong media, Western Airlines plans to commence a tourist charter service between Hong Kong and Dali, Yunnan, starting Wednesday (March 12).
The flight from Dali to Hong Kong, designated as PN6483, will depart at 10:30 am and arrive at 1:10 pm, with a flight duration of approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. The route will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using an Airbus A320-200.
Conversely, the flight from Hong Kong to Dali, identified as PN6484, is scheduled to take off at 2:15 pm, arriving at 4:50 pm, with a flight time of around 2 hours and 35 minutes. This route will also operate on the same days and aircraft type.
Dali, located in western-central Yunnan Province, is known for its mild climate year-round. It has a rich cultural history, with ethnic groups like the Bai and Yi having inhabited the area since the Neolithic era. Historically, Dali served as an important transit point on the "Tea Horse Road." The region boasts over 130 scenic spots, with the most famous being Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, embodying the phrase "Wind, Flower, Snow, and Moon" that characterizes this enchanting city.
