The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has supported three major international trail running events in recent months, drawing thousands of visitors to the city. From Feb. 15 to 16, the HKTB collaborated with Klook, airlines, and other partners to organize the "Hong Kong Outdoor Festival," targeting the preferences of the Korean market. The festival successfully attracted over 140 Korean visitors to experience HK's unique blend of urban landscapes and natural scenery through running.

The participants included prominent celebrities, influencers, and athletes. Among them were Im Se-mi, an actress from the hit Netflix K-drama The Whirlwind; Jun Woong-tae, a modern pentathlete and Asian Games gold medalist; and fitness influencers from the YouTube channel AllblancTV, which boasts over 4 million subscribers.

The festival offered three distinct running routes, allowing participants to explore diverse aspects of HK. The first route featured a morning run at The Peak, where runners could enjoy panoramic views of Victoria Harbour while taking in the tranquility of the tree-lined trails. The second event, a night run along the Central Harbourfront, was led by former South Korean track team member and marathon runner, offering participants a chance to experience the city's vibrant urban energy. The third activity was a scenic trail run at Dragon's Back in Shek O. Guided by professional coaches, runners ascended the iconic ridge, immersing themselves in HK's breathtaking natural beauty.
