
According to the 9-day weather forecast from the Hong Kong Observatory, the recent weather has been extremely humid, with humidity levels reaching 85% for several consecutive days. Next Wednesday (Feb. 26) and Thursday (Feb. 27), humidity is expected to soar to 95%.
The Observatory indicated that the northeast monsoon will continue to affect the coastal areas of Guangdong in the coming days, bringing strong winds and cool temperatures in the mornings. A band of clouds is forecasted to cover the region in the middle of this week. It is anticipated that a cold front will arrive on the southern coast on Sunday (Feb. 23), leading to notably cool weather early next week.
According to the forecast, the temperature will drop to 13 degrees Celsius next Monday (Feb. 24), and then slightly rise to a minimum of 15 degrees on Tuesday. By Wednesday, temperatures are expected to range between 16 and 20 degrees.
Regarding humidity, the recent days have been quite damp, with humidity peaking at 90% on Wednesday. From Thursday to Saturday, humidity will also reach 85%, and the levels will hit 95% next Wednesday and Thursday, with the Observatory predicting rain on those two days.
