Watch This | Man gets slashed by two in Shau Kei Wan
A stabbing incident occurred in Shau Kei Wan. Today (Jan. 17), at 11:42 a.m., a 50-year-old man was passing through 38 Sai Wan Ho Street in Shau Kei Wan when he was attacked by two men with weapons, resulting in injuries to his hands and feet. After the assailants succeeded, they fled in a waiting vehicle without a trace.
Passersby discovered the injured victim bleeding and reported the incident for help. When paramedics arrived on the scene, the victim was semi-conscious and was taken to the hospital for treatment in an ambulance. Police are currently investigating the incident and are pursuing the suspects involved in the case.
Footage from the CCTV cameras showed that as the victim was walking alone on Hoi An Street, a man wearing a baseball cap suddenly attacked from behind, crouching down to slash at the victim's feet before targeting other parts of the body. Shortly after, another accomplice in a striped shirt joined in, both continuously wielding knives against the victim's body. The victim fell to the ground and could only defend himself with his hands. The man in the striped shirt stopped and fled first, while the man in the baseball cap continued to attack before eventually fleeing.
