
Speaking on a radio program today (Dec. 30), the Deputy Director of Operations of the EEBus said that there will be buses departing from Yau Ma Tei in the early hours on Dec. 31, via Wui Man Road in West Kowloon, to take passengers to the Shenzhen Bay Port after the fireworks display; from early morning to 6:30 am, Jan. 1.
The buses are expected to leave hourly and will be increased to 15-minute intervals, depending on the flow of people. Passengers can purchase tickets in advance or on the same day.
The cross-boundary buses will operate overnight on New Year's Eve:
◆ Mongkok to Shenzhen Bay Port, half-hourly from 10:00 pm on Dec. 31, to 6:30 am the next day.
Boarding point: No. 380-390A, Shanghai Street, Yau Ma Tei, Mongkok, Kowloon.
(Temporary addition) Pick-up point at Wui Man Road, West Kowloon: Opposite to Exit B2 of Austin Station at Wui Man Road (Half-hourly from 00:10 am to 6:10 am on Jan. 1, 2025).
◆ Shenzhen Bay Port to Mongkok, departing every half hour from 11:00 pm on Dec. 31, 2024, to 7:30 am on the following day.
Pick-up point: Car park No. 41-42 after boundary crossing at Shenzhen Bay Port.
