Citybus introduces special services for New Year's Eve
As 2024 comes to a close, Citybus is thrilled to celebrate the arrival of 2025. This year, the popular "HK City Sightseeing" open-top bus fleet will host a unique "New Year's Eve Party" experience, perfect for those looking to embrace the new year with a laid-back vibe.
For those planning to enjoy the traditional New Year's Eve fireworks near Victoria Harbour, Citybus will introduce 14 special bus routes after the show. This initiative will make it easier for residents from all districts to return home quickly after the countdown celebrations and for tourists to access boundary control ports throughout the night.
Unforgettable Countdown Experience
Since launching our tourism brand "HK City Sightseeing" last month and welcoming back mainland China tourists with the reintroduction of "multiple-entry" endorsements, our open-top bus routes have seen remarkable patronage. To further support the tourism industry, Citybus will launch the "New Year's Eve Party" H2S on New Year's Eve, providing an unforgettable countdown experience for everyone. Join our open-top buses to avoid the crowds and enjoy stunning views of Victoria Harbour as we welcome 2025!
The "New Year's Eve Party" H2S will feature 12 open-top buses departing from HSR West Kowloon Station at 11:35 pm on New Year's Eve. The buses will travel through the Western Harbour Crossing, connecting Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, with designated hop-on and hop-off stops along the way. Customers can also purchase our exclusive "New Year's Eve Party" package on the "HK City Sightseeing" website, which includes a limited-edition souvenir and premium services like priority boarding and guaranteed upper deck seating.
Special Bus Services After Countdown Celebrations
On New Year's Eve, "The Symphony of Happiness" fireworks musical will light up Victoria Harbour. Citybus will introduce 14 special bus routes from key viewing locations, including Central, Causeway Bay, and The Peak on Hong Kong Island, as well as the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in Kowloon and Hong Kong Disneyland. This ensures that residents can easily and quickly return home after joining in the joyful countdown celebrations.
Let's ring in the New Year together!
