A person fell from a building in the Lai Chi Kok area today (Dec. 30).
At about 2:30 pm, the police received a report that someone fell from a high place opposite 55 Wing Hong Street in Lai Chi Kok, hit a passerby, and both fell into a coma.
Rescuers arrived at the scene to save the life of the person who jumped from the building was later confirmed dead on the spot. The passerby injured was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the incident.
