Measures for cleanliness, safety announced during Christmas
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced that it will collaborate with other government departments to implement a series of measures during the Christmas period at its venues, particularly in areas expected to attract large crowds. Key locations include the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, Salisbury Garden, the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, the Central Road Children's Playground, the Tsim Sha Tsui East Waterfront Garden, and the Municipal Council's Centenary Garden.
During the holiday season, the Cultural Centre's broadcasting system will regularly announce crowd management information in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, urging the public to dispose of litter properly.
Crowd control measures will be implemented in response to the actual situation at the Cultural Centre Piazza, Salisbury Garden, the Avenue of Stars, and the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. The department encourages the public to pay attention to the broadcasts and follow the instructions of on-site staff to ensure safety.
