Direct high-speed rail service available from Xinyang, Henan to HK starting Jan. 5

Starting from 12:00 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2025, China's rail transport will implement the train operation schedule for the first quarter of 2025.

Notably, the G828/5 high-speed train (from Xi'an North to Hong Kong West Kowloon) will offer direct high-speed rail service from Xinyang, Henan Province, to Hong Kong for the first time, providing travelers between the two locations with a more convenient and efficient travel option.

It is reported that the G828/5 train will arrive at Xinyang East Station daily at 3:03 p.m. after a high-speed journey of 6 hours and 6 minutes, it will reach Hong Kong West Kowloon Station at 9:09 p.m. On the return journey, the G826/7 train will depart from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station daily at 9:07 a.m. and arrive at Xinyang East Station at 3:57 p.m.
