Rosanna Law handles housing-related matters decisively: Kenneth Fok
Legislative Council member Kenneth Fok expressed that he has taken note of the decisive and swift handling of housing affairs by Rosanna Law as the Permanent Secretary for Housing and Director of Housing.
The State Council has decided on Dec. 5, 2024, to appoint Rosanna Law as the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Fok looks forward to collaborating with her in the future and believes that with new personnel come new styles, which can usher in a new era for cultural and sports development.
He also noted that Hong Kong's economic transition is at a critical juncture, necessitating a comprehensive review of systems and reforms.
With the opening of the Kai Tak Sports Park, the 15th National Games, and the implementation of the "Blueprint for Arts and Culture and Creative Industries Development," he hopes that Law will engage in deep and candid exchanges with the industry, collectively adapting to change and driving innovation to further advance the cultural and sports sectors.
Fok stated that since assuming office, the current government has put significant effort into cultural and sports development, expressing gratitude for the contributions made by the outgoing Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Kevin Yeung.
