2-meter-long wild boar with blood intrudes into school in Causeway Bay
A wild boar was unexpectedly spotted at HKCA Po Leung Kuk School, 62 Tin Hau Temple Road, Causeway Bay.
At 7:50 a.m. today (Nov. 26), a 2-meter-long wild boar, injured and bleeding, entered the campus and lay down to rest on a hillside. The police were notified and arrived on the scene, informing the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department to send personnel for assistance.
The incident occurred as students were returning to school, and the school authorities prohibited journalists from entering. However, it did not disrupt classes for the students.
At 10:24 a.m., a police car and two vans left the school. The wild boar was suspected to have been captured and taken away.
