Tesla collides with wild boar on Clear Water Bay Road, fire truck hit from behind after assisting
At around 11 a.m. today (Oct. 11), a Tesla car traveling towards Ping Shek on Clear Water Bay Road struck and killed a wild boar near On Sau Road.
The car was damaged and stopped at the roadside. While a fire rescue vehicle was passing by and the firefighters were assessing the situation, a tipper truck, unable to stop in time, crashed into the rear of the fire truck. Both vehicles sustained severe damage.
It was found that the truck driver and five firefighters were injured initially. The truck driver did not require hospitalization, but the injured firefighters were taken to United Hospital.
