At around 7 a.m. this morning (Nov. 1), a ferry accident occurred at Central Pier 9. A ferry of Tsui Wah Ferry Service struck the pier while docking, with over 110 passengers on board. Initial reports indicate that 43 people have been injured.
In response, the Central and Western District Office has set up an inter-departmental help desk at Queen Mary Hospital. The help desk will render appropriate assistance to the public. The inquiry hotline is 9020 0073.
