Zheng Qinwen wins championship at WTA500 Tokyo
In the finals of the WTA500 Tokyo, Hubei tennis player Zheng Qinwen defeated former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin 2-0 to clinch the championship on Oct. 27.

Recently, Zheng also reached her first final at the 2024 WTA Wuhan Open, where she finished as the runner-up.
The 2024 WTA Finals are scheduled to take place from Nov. 2 to 9 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following Li Na, Zheng Qinwen will be the second Chinese player to qualify for the WTA Year-End Finals.
