The Social Welfare Department (SWD) held a "Painting Without Brushes" event today (Oct. 26) as part of its "Strive and Rise Programme." The event was organized by the SWD and sponsored by The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and JC Art Academy.
The Strive and Rise Programme, launched by the Chief Secretary for Administration, is a tripartite collaboration between the Government, the business sector, and the community. Its purpose is to encourage students to broaden their horizons, strengthen self-confidence, establish a positive outlook on life, set goals for their future, and strive to reach the top.
The theme of this event is "abstract art," where participants explored creative expression without traditional brush painting, with guidance and support provided throughout the activity.
