HKO to issue Strong Wind Signal No.3 at 10:40 am this morning
The Hong Kong Observatory announced today (Oct. 26) that it will issue the Strong Wind Signal, No.3 at 10:40 a.m. this morning.
According to the Observatory, the tropical cyclone "Trami" has continued to move westwards steadily over the past few hours, skirting to the south of HK at a distance of about 500 kilometers or more and intensifying slightly.
Under the combined influence of "Trami" and the northeast monsoon, the associated strong wind zone and rainbands will gradually affect the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. Local winds are expected to strengthen gradually today.
