Hong Kong Zoo investigates mysterious deaths of eight animals

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced on Oct. 14 that eight animals were found dead in the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens (HKZBG) on Oct. 13, including one De Brazza's Monkey, one Common Squirrel Monkey, three Cotton-top Tamarins and three White-faced Sakis.

John Lee: HK benefits from new CEPA Amendment Agreement

Among the five areas of assessment in the 2024 Report, Hong Kong ranks top in "Freedom to trade internationally" and "Regulation", and its ranking in "Sound money" rises to third globally.

The Chief Executive, John Lee, delivered his third Policy Address the day on Wednesday (Oct. 16). Speaking on a radio program on Oct. 18, he said Hong Kong is undergoing a restructuring, which is particularly noticeable in some sectors such as tourism, and that the industry needs to have a new mindset to cope with the changing consumption patterns of the public and tourists.
