Apple to launch Apple Intelligence on Oct 28 alongside iOS 18.1
Apple is reportedly set to release Apple Intelligence, initially intended as a key feature for the iPhone 16 series, on Oct. 28 (Monday).
This launch will coincide with the release of iOS 18.1, enabling full integration across the iPhone 16 series, as well as the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, and other specified supported devices.
According to Apple leak reporter Mark Gurman, the first set of features in Apple Intelligence will include text editing and summarization tools called Writing Tools, as well as smart recording and transcription capabilities for Mail, Notes, and other applications.
Integration with ChatGPT and the introduction of Genmoji are expected to be rolled out with iOS 18.2, which is anticipated to launch by the end of this year or early 2025.
The iOS 18.4 is expected to feature an upgraded version of Siri, enhancing the digital assistant's capability to use personal information to respond to queries.
