National Day 'Golden Week' | China Railway expected to carry about 19.86 mn passengers today

Today is the last day of the National Day "Golden Week". According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., the railways are expected to carry about 19.86 million passengers today, with 1,705 more trains scheduled.

China Railway Shanghai Group states that railways in the Yangtze River Delta are experiencing a peak in passenger flow today and are expected to carry 3.57 million passengers, an increase of 166,000 passengers compared to the same period last year, which is a growth rate of 4.9%.
