Cathay Pacific to launch Dallas flights on April 24
Cathay Pacific announced today (Sept. 24) that it will launch a new direct flight route between Hong Kong and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) starting April 24 next year. This marks Cathay Pacific's sixth passenger destination in the United States and its eighth in North America.
According to Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer of Cathay Pacific, DFW is one of the busiest airports globally. The new route will enhance connections between Hong Kong, North America, and countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Cathay Pacific will operate four weekly flights to and from Dallas using the latest Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. Reservations for the new route are now open.
Cathay Pacific plans to increase its flights to North America starting next May, with an increase to 108 round trips per week. This includes three daily flights to and from Hong Kong to New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, as well as daily flights to both Boston and Chicago.
