Cathay Pacific takes firm action against disruptive passengers on flight CX253
A passenger shared on Xiaohongshu on Sept. 21 an unpleasant experience of being verbally abused by two travelers seated behind her during a Cathay Pacific flight.

Following an investigation into the incident that occurred on flight CX253 on Sept. 17, where two passengers engaged in verbal and physical harassment over seat adjustments, Cathay Pacific took decisive action by banning the disruptive passengers from all future Cathay Pacific Group flights.
After offering a new seat for the affected passenger, the cabin services manager also issued stern warnings twice to the disruptive passengers regarding their inappropriate behavior.
Cathay Pacific reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring a harmonious and safe in-flight environment for all passengers, expressing regret for the incident and extending apologies to those impacted by the disruptive behavior.
