DC Election | Milestone: Voter turnout tops one million
As of 19:00 Sunday (Dec. 10), the voter turnout for the geographical constituencies in Hong Kong's 2023 District Council Ordinary Election has topped one million, marking a milestone in today's polling.
According to official data, a total of 1,062,936 voters cast their ballots in the first nine hours of voting as of 19:30, registering a 24.53% percent turnout.
A total of 2,454 registered electors of the District Committee constituencies (DCC) cast their votes with a 96.92 percent turnout rate, as the DCC voting concluded at 2:30 pm.
