Hong Kong has recently seen reports of rats appearing in many places, and now a restaurant has been found to be infested. Yesterday (Nov. 3), a netizen posted on social media that while dining at a Thai restaurant inside a shopping mall at 1 Tuen Lee Street in Tuen Mun, they saw three rats strutting around the restaurant during the meal, and they even jumped onto the table, which was totally outrageous. Diners who witnessed the scene were so frightened that they ran away.

In the end, staff could only ask everyone to take their food to the old shop to continue eating. The poster said they would never dare to patronise the restaurant again, and wryly referenced the animated film "Ratatouille," saying they could take a photo with the head chef, though it was a little nerve-wracking.
