Eason Chan has announced that he will hold 26 shows of "Recording Sessions with Mr. Eason Chan" at the Lyric Theatre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from December this year to February next year. For the first time, he is inviting fans to participate in person in a live public recording format, with each show featuring a unique, non-repeating setlist. Tickets will be sold via Cityline through an online registration ballot system. Registration for the ballot opens today (Oct. 28) at 11:00 am. DotDotNews has compiled the ultimate guide to help readers secure tickets for their desired shows!

As this performance requires registration for a ballot prior to purchasing tickets upon winning, any current claims of having "tickets in hand" or "guaranteed seats" are entirely untrustworthy.

The organizer also appealed to fans not to patronize scalpers or pay unverified third parties out of eagerness to attend. Doing so not to mention potentially incurring costs far above original prices, risks purchasing fake tickets or suffering financial losses.

Seating Map

According to the website of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the Lyric Theatre has approximately 1,181 total seats, including stalls, circle, and gallery. However, the seating plan is for reference only; official announcements shall prevail.

The organizer emphasized that adopting a ballot mechanism and allocating 90 percent of tickets for public sale represents their maximum effort to ensure fair participation for more fans. However, constrained by venue capacity, each night can only accommodate around 1,000 audience members. Even across 26 shows, the total quota is only about 26,000, making it genuinely difficult to meet all fans' demand.

The organizer expressed deep regret for not being able to accommodate every fan supporting Eason, and kindly requested understanding and tolerance.

Audience Notice

According to the audience instructions released by EAS Music, each Recording Session features dedicated performance content, with a designated album recorded each night and non-repeating setlists across all shows. Please refer to the schedule prior to ticket purchase to confirm corresponding albums for each date.

Performances will start promptly at 8:00 pm every night. Latecomers will not be admitted immediately and must wait according to staff instructions to enter at appropriate intervals without affecting the performance and recording.

Upon entry, staff will provide a dedicated phone pouch. Audience members must completely switch off their mobile phones before sealing them inside the device. Using phones, cameras, or other electronic devices for photography, audio recording, or video recording is strictly prohibited during the performance.

In addition, children under 12 years of age will not be admitted.
