The Observatory said today (Oct. 26) that the northeast monsoon is expected to continue affecting Guangdong. A fresh to strong easterly airstream will gradually affect the coastal areas of southern China in the middle of this week, with slightly more cloud in the region. As the easterly airstream eases slightly, the weather in Guangdong will be generally sunny in the latter part of this week, with fairly large day-night temperature differences inland.
The Observatory forecasts that today's weather will be mainly cloudy with one or two showers early on, and sunny periods during the day. Temperatures will range between 26 and 30 degrees, with moderate east to northeast winds. Winds will be stronger in the following one or two days, with sunny periods.
