Yesterday (Sept. 25), the first day of the Mid-Autumn holiday, Guangdong’s provincial expressway network recorded an estimated daily traffic volume of about 8.2077 million vehicle trips.
In the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, expressway traffic totaled approximately 6.7667 million vehicle trips. Among key routes, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridgesaw around 16,800vehicle trips; the Shenzhen–Zhongshan Link (Shenzhen–Zhongshan Tunnel)recorded about 122,700; the Humen Bridgehandled roughly 115,400; the Nansha Bridgeprocessed around 140,700; and the Huangpu Bridgecarried approximately 129,700.
For main waterway services, the Qiongzhou Strait ferry route recorded passenger throughput of about 36,000 person-trips, with 10,100 vehicles entering and leaving the island. In addition, Pearl River passenger transport handled around 16,800 person-trips.
