Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee will unveil the city's first five-year plan and the 2026 Policy Address today (Sept. 16).
Lee has described the five-year development plan as a blueprint for HK's development over the next five years, while the Policy Address will serve as the annual report for implementing the city's first five-year plan and set out policy priorities based on HK's actual circumstances.
The cover of HK's first five-year plan is blue, symbolizing the blue sky, openness, progress and stability. The Policy Address will retain its green cover, representing policy continuity, vitality and hope.
