According to CCTV News, citing the latest figures released by Nepali police, as of 8 pm local time on Sept. 14, the death toll from the Nepal mudslide disaster has risen to 1,396.
On Aug. 26, a sudden glacial collapse in Nepal's border region triggered a severe mudslide, causing heavy casualties.
