UnionPay International will hold a free tram ride day on Sept. 17, allowing all passengers to ride HK's trams free of charge with unlimited trips throughout the day.
In addition to the free tram rides, UnionPay International is offering a range of transport promotions in HK, giving cardholders exclusive fare discounts and rebates on designated public transport services. The offers cover various everyday travel scenarios, further enhancing payment convenience and the user experience.
Among the promotions, UnionPay cardholders can enjoy half-price fares capped at HK$2 per trip when taking HK buses and ferries every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Cardholders can also receive a HK$5 discount on taxi fares when paying through designated payment methods.
