The feature film "Once Upon a Time in the Middle East", or "Welcome to the Dragon Restaurant," will officially open in cinemas across Hong Kong and Macao on Friday, Sept. 11.
Directed by Wen Muye and starring Shen Teng in the lead role, the film follows Xu Fu, a Chinese chef who travels to the Middle East.
Taking charge of the kitchen at a local establishment named the "Dragon Restaurant," Xu uses simple, home-cooked meals to comfort people amidst the devastation of war while protecting a group of local orphans.
The film is jointly distributed in HK by Intercontinental Film Distributors, Mandarin Motion Pictures, Sil-Metropole Organization, and Emperor Motion Pictures.
