Two traffic accidents occurred within half an hour on Lion Rock Tunnel Road this morning (Aug 15).
At 11:42 am, two taxis and a private car collided near Union Hospital on the Kowloon-bound side of Lion Rock Tunnel Road. One taxi passenger sustained minor injuries. At 12:09 pm, another traffic accident occurred on Lion Rock Tunnel Road, involving a heavy goods vehicle and six private cars in a chain collision. Three drivers and one passenger suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The Transport Department stated that due to the traffic accidents, some lanes of Lion Rock Tunnel Road (Kowloon-bound) near Union Hospital remain closed.
