Starting today (Aug. 12), Air China's Beijing-Ulaanbaatar route will be operated by the domestically produced C919 large passenger aircraft, marking the official commencement of scheduled international commercial air service for this domestically manufactured aircraft. The route is planned to operate one round-trip flight daily.
Previously, the C919 aircraft has made several appearances at overseas air shows, participating in two Singapore Airshows and one Dubai Airshow.
