Affected by the subsiding air from Typhoon "Dolphin," Hong Kong has been experiencing extreme heat for several consecutive days. Yesterday afternoon (Aug. 9), the Observatory headquarters recorded a temperature of 36.9°C — the highest since records began in 1884. With the scorching weather, 7-Eleven is offering ice cream deals to help you cool down.
From today (Aug. 10) to Aug. 13, customers purchasing Häagen-Dazs Crispy Pies (80ml, excluding Japanese versions) at 7-Eleven stores can enjoy 25% off on orders of HK$100 or more. At MTR station stores, the same 25% discount applies to purchases of HK$80 or more. After the discount, 6 cups cost just HK$88.5, averaging HK$14.8 per cup.
