A powerful 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture on Tuesday (July 28), triggering a massive explosion at the Aeon Mall Kumamoto in Kashima Town.
Rescue teams have pulled eight people from the rubble, but around 10 to 30 people remain unaccounted for.
Authorities suspect the explosion was caused by a gas leak triggered by the earthquake, though the exact cause is still under investigation.
