The CHIIKAWA craze is sweeping Hong Kong, and the Star Ferry has also been given a makeover! The CHIIKAWA-themed Star Ferry will be operating between Victoria Harbour from today (July 28). On the themed ferry, you can find characters from the movie Chiikawa The Movie: The Secret of The Mermaid Island dressed as CHIIKAWA, HACHIWARE, or USAGI in various locations.
A CHIIKAWA-themed staircase will be set up on the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier towards Wan Chai, where you can take photos with 14 limited-edition movie character posters. The public can ride the CHIIKAWA-themed Star Ferry at the regular fare.
A limited-edition Star Ferry pre-sale ticket package is also available for HK$180, including a limited-edition adult one-way ticket, a special edition movie ticket, and a movie-themed magnet. These can be purchased from 11:00 AM today at the Harbour Cruise Ticket Office at the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier.
