Japanese novelist Keigo Higashino has died of colorectal cancer at the age of 68, according to Japan's Asahi Shimbun on July 27.
Higashino passed away on July 23 after battling the disease.
His best-known works include "Journey Under the Midnight Sun", "The Miracles of the Namiya General Store", and "The Devotion of Suspect X".
