Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), this year's fair is being staged alongside the Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo and the World of Snacks, bringing together more than 770 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions.
Across the fairground and the city, visitors can enjoy over 600 cultural events, eight seminar series, the "World of Art & Culture" zone, and the debut ASEAN Literary Festival — plus meet renowned writers, explore creative showcases, try family-friendly sports experiences, and sample more than 1,300 snacks from around the world.
With one ticket covering all three events, the fair has become a one-stop summer outing for books, culture, leisure — and global flavours.
On day one, our reporters hit the floor to speak with visitors about what they love to read and how much they plan to spend this year. From romance devotees to science enthusiasts paging through quantum physics, and from first-timers to loyal regulars, they shared candid impressions of what's new — and what keeps them coming back.
As Asia's "super connector", Hong Kong is once again providing a platform for publishers, authors and readers worldwide to exchange ideas — showcasing the city's enduring appeal as a cultural melting pot. Watch our video for a first-hand look at the scene.
