To celebrate the 29th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, two drone performances will illuminate the night sky over Victoria Harbour on the evening of July 1 at New Hung Hom Waterfront.
The shows will feature a fleet of 2,026 drones, choreographed with a space-themed motif. Spectators can expect to see dazzling formations depicting a Shenzhou rocket, astronauts, and other celestial imagery, as the city comes together to mark this significant occasion with a vibrant display of light and creativity.
The performances are scheduled to take place on the night of July 1, offering a festive highlight for residents and visitors alike. Further details regarding showtimes and public viewing arrangements will be announced in due course.
Date: July 1, 2026 (Wednesday)
Times: 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm (each 15 minutes)
Venue: New Hung Hom Waterfront (take‑off site)
