According to the National Immigration Administration, border inspection authorities across the country handled a total of 6.667 million cross-border trips by Chinese and foreign nationals during this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday, averaging 2.222 million trips per day – a 12.9% increase compared to the same period last year. The single-day peak for cross-border travel occurred on June 20, reaching 2.308 million trips.

Among them, mainland residents made 2.921 million cross-border trips, up 5.5% from the same period last year; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents made 2.969 million trips, up 18.4%; and foreign nationals made 777,000 trips, up 23.3%. Of the foreign arrivals, 266,000 entered under visa-free policies, an increase of 15.2% compared to last year. A total of 305,000 cross-border vehicles, vessels, trains, and aircraft were inspected, up 16% from the same period last year.
