At 8:04 am today (June 16), a five-vehicle pile-up occurred on the West Kowloon Corridor towards Tsim Sha Tsui. No injuries were reported in the incident. According to sources, some drivers reported seeing a black mongrel dog wandering on that stretch of road, during which five private cars came to a stop at the location. It is suspected that one of the vehicles may have lost control while trying to avoid the dog, triggering the accident. Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
According to reports, officers cordoned off some lanes and attempted to catch the dog, but were unsuccessful, eventually losing sight of the animal.
