On Thursday (June 11), SpaceX announced that its initial public offering (IPO) is priced at US$135 per share. This move will lead to the largest IPO in history, raising approximately US$75 billion. It will also boost Elon Musk's personal wealth to an astonishing US$1 trillion, making him the world's first billionaire to reach that level.

According to the Forbes and Bloomberg rich lists, Musk was already the world's richest person. If he leads Tesla to achieve specific milestones, he will also earn a trillion-dollar compensation package. However, SpaceX's IPO will make him the world's first trillionaire even sooner—at least on paper.

Based on information disclosed by SpaceX, Musk holds about half of the company's shares, including those he may earn in the future for achievements such as "launching data centers into space" and "establishing a human settlement on Mars." At the announced IPO price, the value of Musk's stake in SpaceX is approximately US$867 billion.
