A traffic accident involving a minibus, a bus and a medium goods vehicle occurred on the Kowloon-bound carriageway of Fanling Highway near Tsung Pak Long on Thursday morning (June 4), leaving 23 people injured.
According to reports, the minibus driver was trapped inside the vehicle following the collision. Police and firefighters responded to the scene after receiving emergency calls. Firefighters subsequently rescued the trapped driver.
The incident reportedly resulted in injuries to 18 passengers on the minibus, including 10 men and eight women, all believed to have sustained minor injuries. The minibus driver was also injured.
The male driver of the goods vehicle and a female passenger suffered minor injuries, while two male passengers on the bus were also hurt. A total of 23 people were injured in the crash.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
