The Jiangxi Tennis Challenger was held today (May 3) in Jiujiang, where Hong Kong's "number 1" Coleman Wong defeated Australian player Adam Walton in straight sets in the men's singles final, becoming the first Hong Kong player to win an ATP Challenger title, once again writing history for Hong Kong tennis.
Wong, ranked 122nd in the world, delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, advancing to the final without dropping a single set before taking on the third seed, Walton. The two had faced each other twice last year, at the Miami Masters and the US Open, with each claiming one victory.
