Charlene Choi officially announced her marriage on social media today (April 28), posting: "Congratulations to me for marrying you, and congratulations to you for marrying me. I look forward to your guidance in the future, and thank you all for your blessings!"
In response to media inquiries, Charlene's manager Mani Fok said, "All the people who love her most and her closest family and friends, including myself, were there to witness the moment. I cannot disclose any further details. Thank you all for your well-wishes. Charlene has always been deeply loved by so many people, and she will continue to grow happier and happier."
Gillian Chung told the media, "Congratulations to my best partner. I'm so happy that she's finally found her perfect match in life! From the very first day she told me, I was so excited and moved, and even now, just talking about it still moves me. I wish them a happy marriage! May they grow old together and stay devoted to each other forever—and hurry up and have a baby!"
Kenny Kwan is genuinely happy for Charlene. In an interview, he said, "Seeing her enter a new phase of her life, I'm truly happy for her from the bottom of my heart. It is reported that last November, Charlene was rumored to be dating fitness trainer Elvis Lam. In an interview this January, Charlene confirmed the relationship, and in March, she admitted that they were living together and that she had already introduced him to her parents.
According to public records, Charlene Choi was born on November 22, 1982, in Vancouver, Canada, and her ancestral home is Dongguan, Guangdong. In 2011, she debuted as part of the girl group Twins alongside Gillian Chung. She has also appeared in films such as A Chinese Tall Story and The Goldfinger.
