On Sunday, the company announced that Maisy Ho Chiu-ha, an executive director of Shun Tak Holdings and the daughter of the late Macao gaming magnate Stanley Ho Hung-sun, died at the age of 59.
According to information cited by local media, Ho had fought breast cancer for years and was recently admitted to the intensive care unit at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital after a recurrence. She died peacefully with family members at her side, her relatives said in a statement released through Shun Tak.
Ho, the third daughter of Stanley Ho and his second wife Lucina Laam King Ying, graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications and psychology. Beyond her role at Shun Tak—a Hong Kong-listed group with businesses spanning property, transportation, hospitality, and investment—she was known for public service work, including leadership roles at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and appointments to the Equal Opportunities Commission and civic education bodies. She received the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2016.
