Following the nostalgic recreation of its first-ever store in Happy Valley, 7-Eleven Hong Kong has launched two more themed stores to celebrate its 45th anniversary — one in Mong Kok inspired by neon signs, and another in Tsuen Wan featuring classic minibus destination boards.
The Mong Kok store showcases handmade neon signs crafted by local artisan Wu Chi-kai, incorporating brand messages such as "45th Anniversary," "24-Hour Operation," and the beloved slogan "There's Always One Nearby." The design also pays homage to the neighbourhood with motifs of mahjong, goldfish street patterns, and a key symbol referencing a nearby old-style key-cutting shop.
The Tsuen Wan store features hand-painted minibus signs by Master Mak Kam-sang, one of Hong Kong's last remaining artisans of this craft. Using the classic red-and-blue calligraphy style, the signs highlight 7-Eleven favourites including rice balls, Slurpee, and noodles.
To mark the anniversary, 7-Eleven has also launched four limited-edition house-brand products with 45% extra volume at no additional cost, featuring items such as grilled pork rice balls, wasabi octopus rice balls, cheese buns, and Japanese steamed cake.
