Harbour City has partnered with Bandai Namco Asia for the first time to present the large‑scale anime event "Bandai Namco Asia Journey in Hong Kong @ Harbour City," running from now until May 5. This is Bandai Namco Asia's first flagship themed project held in Asia, bringing together five iconic franchises—Mobile Suit Gundam, One Piece, Tamagotchi, Ultraman and Dragon Ball—to offer an immersive experience for toy and anime fans.
The event features five themed zones located around Harbour City, each presenting spectacular classic scenes. Located at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, the "Bandai Namco Asia Future Spaceship・Mobile Suit Gundam Exploration Bay" is the main highlight of the event. Standing at an impressive 5 metres tall, the original RX‑78‑2 Gundam makes its first-ever appearance in this dynamic launch pose, emerging powerfully from the Bandai Namco Asia Future Spaceship. Inside the ship installation, more than 100 rare Gundam series toys will be exhibited, including models from the PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED series and about 20 units from the Gundam Universe series.
Ocean Terminal Deck transforms into a spectacular ONE PIECE themed zone, recreating three iconic anime scenes: a majestic 6‑metre‑tall pirate ship installation inspired by "Going Merry", a themed photo spot inspired by the"Egghead Arc (Future Island)", and a Gear 5 Luffy photo point. Brand‑new One Piece collaboration exhibits will make their Hong Kong debut, offering fans a rich viewing experience.
The Ocean Terminal G/F atrium hosts a Tamagotchi zone designed around a research‑lab concept, featuring life‑size statues of the three Tamagotchi Paradise protagonists and themed selfie booths. Tamagotchi Paradise players can also connect to event machines within the zone to unlock limited‑edition items, adding interactive fun.
