The autograph signing event for Pakho Chau's photo book "Days Before the Bloom" was held today (March 15) at the Harvey Nichols store in Pacific Place, Admiralty. Fans were enthusiastic and cheered loudly, and Chau expressed his gratitude to the fans who traveled from afar to attend. He also revealed that the reprinted edition will include random posters or postcards.
Before the signing event began, a large crowd of fans had already gathered, lining up orderly while holding their photo books. They warmed up the atmosphere with heartwarming sing-alongs, and upon seeing Chau, they erupted with cheers and screams of excitement. During the event, Chau met fans and personally signed their photo books, even designing special stickers to give away. Some fans were so overwhelmed that they cried.
In an interview with DotDotNews, Chau shared that this photo book serves as a record of his youth over the past few years. He didn't want the great performance photos to just disappear online; he wanted to compile his and his fans' youthful memories into a tangible collectible.
When asked about his favorite photo, Chau flipped to a picture in the center of the book, showing him and his team bowing to the audience. Although no faces were visible, he stated that it was "very powerful."
Due to the high enthusiasm from fans, the first batch of 2,500 photo books sold out quickly. Chau's team is considering a reprint, which will include additional content. He mentioned that random posters and postcards will be added, allowing fans to experience a "blind box" effect and even swap postcards with those around them.
