The film Back to the Past has been released for over two and a half months, maintaining a steady attendance rate. As of yesterday (March 14), its box office gross in Hong Kong and Macao has reached $96,891,344. The production company has specially launched a two-day thank-you event featuring the Longfang CP this weekend, with all screenings selling out within three minutes, highlighting the popularity of this pairing.
Yesterday, Louis Koo and Jessica Hester made another appearance for the thank-you event, creating a lively atmosphere. Hester even acted as the photographer for fans taking pictures with Koo. Among the fans were many children who came with their parents to meet their idol; one child even dressed as a young King Qin, catching Koo's eye. When he was chosen during a segment to receive a souvenir, Koo went up and embraced the little King Qin, bringing envy from many fans.
Koo also felt the warmth of the audience, especially when parents dressed their children as young King Qin. He commented, "Although this 3-year-old King Qin may not know who Hester and I are, or who King Qin is, I am very happy that his parents are willing to put in this effort to support us."
