According to a report by CCTV News on March 6, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated during a press briefing that the US expects to achieve its core military objectives in Iran within four to six weeks.
"The US is well on its way to controlling Iranian airspace," she said, adding that achievable American objectives could be completed within "four to six weeks".
Earlier the same day, US President Donald Trump declared on social media that the US would not reach any agreements with Iran unless it agrees to "unconditional surrender."
"What the President means is that when he, as Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces, determines that Iran no longer poses a threat to the United States of America, and the goals of Operation Epic Fury has been fully realized, then Iran will essentially be in a place of unconditional surrender, whether they say it themselves or not," Leavitt said.
